We are very grateful for the parents who support us by sharing their time, experiences and skills with the children.
Some of the ways in which parents help us in school are by:
- Volunteering to support in the classroom on a weekly basis
- Preparing and selling fruit to the children on “Fruity Fridays”
- Reading with children
- Talking to the children about special events and celebrations in their family
- Coming on school visits
- Making things
If you are interested in volunteering in the school, please pop into the office and ask the staff to pass on your name to Mrs Enchill-Balogun.
To work in school as a regular volunteer, helpers will need to be checked by the Disclosure & Barring Service (formally the Criminal Records Bureau). This is something that Mrs Enchill-Balogun will talk to you about when you meet.
