The wearing of uniform is part of the school policy and we ask parents to help us implement this in the same way that you support us with any other policy. We expect parents to send children to school smartly and appropriately dressed in school uniform. Sensible low heeled black shoes or plain black trainers with no logos should be worn. Items are easily available from High Street stores, and those with the school logo can be purchased from Premier Schoolwear. See below for further information.

Pupils must not come to school in sportswear or clothing printed with designs such as cartoon or pop characters. Sensible black footwear (shoes or trainers) should be worn, appropriate to the age of the child.
Jewellery should not be worn to school. If a child does have pierced ears, the only earrings to be worn are studs, which should be removed on PE days, and preferably left at home; otherwise, the child will be expected to remove and replace his or her own earrings. Parents must send in a letter agreeing to this. Children may wear watches but must take full responsibility for them. Nail varnish and make-up must not be worn to school.
It is important for reasons of hygiene and safety that children should always have PE clothing on their PE day. Please ensure your child comes to school wearing their PE kit on their allocated PE day. Please see your child’s class teacher for this information.
Black or navy blue shorts/leggings/jogging bottoms, white t-shirt and plimsolls (trainers are not suitable for indoor lessons).
All clothing should be clearly marked with your child’s name. This makes it much easier to return a lost item to its owner.
Uniform can be purchased from the High Street stores, supermarkets and also on-line, from Premier Schoolwear, with free delivery to the school office.
