History
At Goodmayes our aim is to inspire children to be curious and active learners about their past. We want children to ask insightful questions, think critically and be able develop an understanding about people’s lives, change in society and relationships between different groups. Through this, we aim to secure a knowledge of chronology.
We encourage our staff and pupils to deepen skills of historical enquiry. Therefore, leading onto helping them understand their own identity and the challenges of their time.
